Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
1. Introduction
Fiscko ("we", "us", "our") operates fiscko.com and the Fiscko platform — an all-in-one booking, payment, and business-management tool for salons, spas, wellness, and other service businesses, including our Fiscko Development website-design service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why and how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to visitors of our website and to users of our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Lead enquiries: when you request a free consultation or quote through our Development page, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, business name, type of business, the kind of website you are looking for, your approximate budget, and any message you provide.
- Consultation bookings: when you book a free consultation, we collect your name, email, the date and time you select, your time zone, and the optional details you shared with your lead enquiry.
- Account & business data: when you create a Fiscko account, we collect your name, email, business name, address, phone number, logo and portfolio images, working hours, team-member details, and billing information you choose to provide.
- Payments data: payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Automatic data: when you visit our site, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring pages, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Communications: when you contact us or reply to our emails, we keep a record of those communications so we can respond and improve our service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our platform and our Development service
- Schedule and run your free consultation and send confirmations and reminders
- Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe
- Communicate with you about your enquiry, account, and service updates
- Measure and analyze how visitors find and use our site
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising, including Google Ads conversion tracking
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate and improve our site:
- Essential cookies: required for the site to function correctly.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand traffic and how visitors use our pages so we can improve them.
- Advertising cookies & pixels: used by Google and other advertising partners to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to show you more relevant ads. The Google Ads conversion-tracking pixel records a conversion event when you complete a consultation booking.
- You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
5. Advertising & Google Ads
We advertise on Google and other platforms. When you click one of our ads, visit our site, and complete a consultation booking, Google's conversion-tracking technology may record that a lead was generated. We use this data to understand which ads bring us enquiries and to optimize our campaigns. We and our advertising partners may also use this data for remarketing — showing ads to people who have visited our site before. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (ads.google.com) and at aboutads.info/choices, and you can opt out of Google Analytics-based advertising through your browser's Do Not Track setting or a relevant opt-out extension.
6. Data Sharing & Service Providers
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate, only as needed to deliver our service and under confidentiality obligations:
- Stripe — payment processing and payouts (Stripe processes card data under its own PCI-compliant systems).
- Google — advertising, conversion tracking, and analytics.
- Hosting and email providers — to host our platform and send confirmations and reminders.
- We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or to meet legal requirements. Lead and consultation data is retained to manage your enquiry and for legitimate business record-keeping. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below), and we will remove it where we have no legal obligation to keep it.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing and personalized advertising at any time
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including Canada and the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. We take steps to ensure your data is protected in line with this policy and applicable law during any such transfer.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
